Kite is designed with privacy in mind. The app is built to keep your breathing activity, progress, and other locally generated information on your device.
Kite does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name or email address.
Kite may store information generated through your use of the app, such as local flight history, completed sessions, and progress information. This information is stored locally on your device.
We do not operate servers for Kite user data, and we do not sync this information to a cloud service or transmit it to us.
Because this information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us, we do not have access to your locally stored Kite data.
Kite uses your device's microphone solely to detect the intensity of your exhale and translate that input into movement of the on-screen kite.
Kite does not intentionally record, save, or transmit your microphone audio.
Microphone input is processed on your device to determine the breath intensity needed for the Kite experience. The raw audio is not retained by Kite after it is processed.
Microphone access is optional. You can manage microphone permissions for Kite through your device settings.
Kite does not require an account, login, email address, or other personal information to use its core features.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Kite does not contain advertising.
Kite does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs to monitor your activity.
We do not use tracking technologies to build advertising profiles or track you across other apps or websites.
